Bonjour my dears!

Today I want to tell you about one of my favorite summer destination! Everybody’s heard of Saint Tropez: a small and iconic costal town in the south of France. All the French Riviera has that vintage vibes that makes all the world in love with it, but in Saint Tropez time seems to have been stopped. This small fascinating village with its pastel pink an yellow houses, its nature and its bohemian vibes has become one of the hottest destination all over the world. Nowadays it’s the place to be next  to Mykonos, Saint Barth and Capri. The mix between the small naif village and the jet setter fashionable life is what makes this place so special!

Saint Tropez really only came into its own during the late 19th century, when it became closely associated with the world of artists. In particular, the neo-Impressionist Paul Signac is said to have discovered the town when he was forced to shelter here from bad weather. He went on to build a house and entertained many well-known painters, including Matisse. During the early 20th century, the town’s Bohemian reputation also attracted many literary visitors. In the 1920s, it became popular with famous fashion designers, such as Coco Chanel.

In the mid-1950s period of history, Saint Tropez shot into the limelight as the place where Brigitte Bardot was first discovered. Wearing a bikini, a novelty at that time, she was seen here filming for ‘And God Created Woman‘.

If you’ve been following me, you should know my love for this French paradise. Everything here makes me feel so good. The nature, the colors, the Mediterranean scents. Here you can really take a breath from real life, have a walk visiting some beautiful wine yards and discovering the genuine taste of life with that Bohemian feeling and at the same time living the jet setter life with a classy attire. This mix make the magic of Saint Tropez!

Here today I want to share with you guid guide to discover and enjoy like this little pearl of the French Riviera! Last but not least, if you’re a sunset and stars addicted you will love this place. Sunset is for sure my favorite moment of the day. The warm colors, the sun going down leaving space to the stars makes me feel so good. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram to discover more spots for sunset lovers!
